With the days between now and Christmas closing in, it’s about time to make that last-ditch effort to celebrate to the FULLEST. I’ve seen my fair share of holiday to-do lists, but this is everything that I plan to personally plan to do beforehand. I hope you’ll join me for the festivities of a #MFSChristmas!
Make (or eat!) cookies.
This is painfully obvious, right? No elaboration necessary. Protip: the best ever are peanut butter blossoms.
Watch a Christmas episode of your favorite show.
I always see seasonal bucketlists hype up movies, but HELLO we should also be talking about the Christmas episodes of shows. It’s always nice to see your fictional friends gathering together for a healthy dose of sentimentality. Case in point: the ninth episode from the first season of New Girl.
Wear something festive.
Take that ugly Christmas sweater and own it! Whether you DIY it or buy it, you cannot go wrong with a little cheerful clothing. I like this Sleigh My Name shirt. CC: Beyoncé.
Make a Christmas playlist.
I actually make new playlists for every season of the year. It’s a really fun, easy way to look back on all the songs that you were obsessed throughout different months. Here’s the link to my personal Christmas one on Spotify, if you’re interested.
Send a card to someone you love.
As you may have guessed by this website, I just think there’s truly a magic in a handwritten card. Take a couple minutes and write a card to someone you haven’t talked to in a while and remind them that they’re important to you.
Do a good deed.
This one is objective, of course. But take a couple minutes to do something a little extra and a little special for someone. You can make as low as a $5 donation to Toys 4 Puerto Rico, a collaborative effort with Lin-Manuel Miranda and Toys “R” Us to get the children of Puerto Rico gifts for the holiday season.
